- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) fettuccine
- 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter, cubed
- 3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. 2 % milk
- 1 c. white wine or chicken broth
- 3 c. cubed cooked turkey
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- paprika, optional
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, sauté mushrooms and onion in butter in a large skillet until tender. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add milk and wine. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min. or until thickened. Stir in turkey, salt, pepper and pepper sauce.
- Drain fettuccini. Layer half of the fettuccini, turkey mixture and cheese in a greased 13 in. x 9 in. baking dish. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with paprika if desired
- Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 min. or until heated through. Let stand for 10 min. before serving.
