Beef Barbecue

Tangy & tasty, this fast-to-fix barbecue mixture comes together in moments and will disappear just as quickly!

Makes: 6 servings

  • 1 lb. ground chuck (80% lean)
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. white or apple cider vinegar
  • 6 soft hamburger buns






  1. In large skillet over med. heat, cook ground chuck, green pepper and onion until beef is well browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar and vinegar; heat to boiling.
  3. Reduce heat to med.-low; simmer, uncovered 1o min. or until mixture is desired thickness. Spoon barbecue onto buns.
